Brief Synopsis:
A man (the protagonist?) who appears to be on his lunch
break comes upon a wounded man in an alley. The wounded
man says his name is Harrison and he needs help... the
Protagonist is his only hope. After asking if he sent
Protag, Harrison pleads for help, giving Protag instructions
to find a woman named Kayla, get the machine from her,
and come back for him. Harrison writes something on Protag's
shirt, and gives Protag a code word (something like 'arronspatch'...
difficult to tell the exact word in this format). Then
two cops or FBI-looking guys shoot at Protag. Protag runs.
He tries to call authorities(?), then sees a car and runs.
The car follows, chasing him a few blocks until he hides
in a diner. The car parks outside. Protag is attracting
attention due to blood on shirt from Harrison. A diner
employee recognizes Protag and asks what happened. Protag
tells him "you don't know me" and runs down corridor to
presumedly hide or escape. |

Brief Comments:
(optional)
Poor quality (pixeled out) conversion to Quicktime format
and marginal audio make this clip difficult to enjoy,
but aside from the technical problems, the content itself
has merit. Main trouble spots were weak dialogue, a noticeably
odd transition (fade out). Good points: an excellent chase
scene, pretty good shot selections, solid editing, and
a dolly effect on the gunshot that worked pretty well,
too. |
